Cancer Center to Host Informational ‘Cancer Wise Cafe’
The Stony Brook Cancer Center will host ‘Cancer Wise Café,’ a day of education and empowerment, on Saturday, September 28, from 8:30 am to 4 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center.
The program will include presentations from Cancer Center experts, who will discuss the latest advances in screening, prevention, diagnosis, management and treatment of several types of cancer. Learn about clinical trials and how research positively impacts all aspects of cancer care.
Free lunch is included, along with educational displays and community organization resource tables.
