SBUH Blood Donor Center Needs Donations

The Stony Brook University Hospital Blood Donor Center has an urgent need for blood, as there has been a significant drop in blood donations across the region following the Memorial Day weekend. While the summer months bring warm weather and gatherings of family and friends, each year there is an influx of trauma patients who require blood transfusions for treatment.

Please consider making an appointment today to donate blood. The blood collected at the Blood Donor Center stays at the hospital to be used for patients.

All donors will receive an official Stony Brook Medicine-branded item.
