Stony Brook Medicine Presents Insights on Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease Care June 15

Experts from Stony Brook Medicine and the Alzheimer’s Association will provide insightful presentations about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care at a free event on Monday, June 15.
“The Journey of Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease Care” will take place from 1 pm to 4 pm in the Medical and Research Translation (MART) Building Auditorium. Registration is required and is available online. There are in-person and virtual options to attend.
Learn about the trajectory of the care continuum, caregiving tips and insights, current advances in dementia and Alzheimer’s research, and more. Whether you’re a clinical provider or a member of the community, all are welcome.
The event is held during Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Light refreshments and healthy snacks will be served.

- Caregiving and the Role of PT/OT: Therapy as an Intervention
- Dementia Prevention Insights: Tips to Decrease Your Risk
