“The new fellow induction ceremony for the Triological Society was an almost surreal experience for me,” said Dr. Chadwick. “It was one of the greatest honors of my career to not only be inducted into this prestigious society, but also to be recognized with such an incredible award.”

The Triological Society, founded more than 125 years ago, attracts the best and brightest in academic and clinical otolaryngology. Membership is achieved by presenting a thesis in the field of otolaryngology, which is reviewed by a panel of peers.

That thesis, “Prospective Outcomes of Microlaryngoscopy Versus Office Laser Photoangiolysis for Vocal Fold Polyps,” was selected for the 2024 Harris P. Mosher Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. Dr. Chadwick also presented this work at the annual meeting of the Triological Society at the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting in Chicago. In addition, the thesis was published in its entirety in the Triological Society’s peer-reviewed journal, The Laryngoscope.

At Stony Brook Medicine, Dr. Chadwick is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon, assistant professor of surgery, and fellowship-trained laryngologist in the ENT. He serves as medical director of the ENT practice in East Setauket, NY, and is director of the Multi-Disciplinary Voice and Swallowing Programs. In early 2025, he will be appointed as director of Otolaryngology at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
